| In 1995 Bob Betourney told me I should try racing at Claremont. I asked "Where the heck is that?" The first time i ever saw the track was the first time we raced there. As I looked at the track, I thought to myself that it didnt look like an oval. We went on the track for the first practice, I got to turn one just past the flagstand and had 3 cars fly by on the outside of us. Whoops.. thats not a turn! The more we ran there,the more fun we had, and Claremont became our home track between 1996 and 2002. |
